Research networks

The Energy Research Networks established by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWi) represent the broad research landscape in Germany on bioenergy, the ENERGIEWENDEBAUEN research initiative, energy efficiency in industry and commerce, energy system analysis, renewable energies, flexible energy conversion and electricity grids and start-ups. As an interface between politics, research and industry, they create important synergies, network actors, link topics and accelerate the transfer of research results into practice.

The Renewable Energies, Flexible Energy Conversion and Bioenergy research networks are responsible for the technologies presented on the Electricity Research page. In addition, Start-ups research network could play a role as an overarching topic.
