About the Fachportal Strom-Forschung (‘Electricity Research Portal’)

The Fachportal Strom-Forschung is part of the portal world on applied energy research topics funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in the 7th Energy Research Programme. Project Management Jülich (PtJ) is in charge of the 7th Energy Research Programme on behalf of the BMWK.

At Strom-Forschung you will find a variety of content on the funding priorities of the Federal Government's 7th Energy Research Programme in the field of sustainable power generation technologies. The focus is on energy gain through photovoltaics, wind power, bioenergy, geothermal energy, hydropower and ocean power, as well as energy generation through thermal power plants.
