Research on the FINO platforms in the North Sea and Baltic Sea

With the FINO platforms, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy offers teams of scientists a comprehensive research infrastructure at sea.
For example, about 75 interested participants recently took advantage of a virtual workshop to learn about all the scientific experiments that are possible at sea, from material tests to sound measurements for wind turbines and bird flight observations. The FINO managers provide support with the work, from planning, transfer and installation of the project technology to operation and maintenance work and secure data transfer. Interested parties can now submit their project ideas to Project Management Jülich.
